When everything is moving, the point where you start to finalize the placement of pieces and parts takes on a significance all it's own. Realizing the first domino sets off all the rest means a lot more when the dominos are being Tig welded in place. The SCTA rules clearly state the overall length and height requirement for the class so the sheet metal was well defined but to set up the wheel base I needed to use the actual wheels and tire diameters (rears are the actual tires and fronts are the correct size).

Were all positioned and the body set over everything in order to confirm that the front crossmember could be welded in place.
